Alexandro E. Menendez, 23, of Newport News, VA, tragically ended his life Friday, January 15, 2021. Born to parents, Luis J. Menendez and Violeta L. Menendez-Matos, he was the youngest of three. He was baby brother, son and friend to sister, Vanessa K. Menendez and baby brother to Roberto L. Menendez.  He was blessed with the love of two mums, Mami Ingrid and Becca.

Alex is survived by his fiancee Levender and many aunties, friends, cousins, Godparents, nieces, nephews, uncles, sister and brother-in-law: Dillan, Jennifer, Jorgie, Lourdes, Robert, Cheryle, Raymond, Johnny, Mandi, Gus, Maria, Mike, Sam, Jared-Mohamad, Hans, Johanna, Big Jorge, titi Jenni, Jeremy.

In his brief existence, he served the U.S. Army, became a kick-box instructor, songwriter and poet.  Alex raced through life, wide open and unafraid. He is loved beyond the unknown, remembered for his willingness and adventurous spirit.
