Androniki “Niki” Argyropoulos, 89, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at St. Francis Nursing Center. She was born in Sopiki, Albania and moved in her early teens to the United States after WWII, landing in NYC. She worked as a seamstress in the City at a furrier. She moved to Newport News, VA in 1976 with her husband, Theoharis Argyropoulos. Her and her husband owned several Dunkin Donuts in the area. She was a member of Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church for many years. She had a flair for fashion and never left home without her makeup on. She was a kind hearted soul and a “Dynamite” Mom.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Theoharis Argyropoulos and her grandson, Paul Baltzis. She is survived by her children, James Zeris of Gloucester, Angelo Argyropoulos of Newport News and Effie Baltzis (Vasilios) of Newport News; her sisters, Linda Caruthers (Jim) of Richmond and Connie Campbell (Dwight) of Richmond; grandchildren, Jamie and Christopher Zeris, Harry Argyropoulos, Phillip Baltzis and Harry Baltzis and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be private.
