On Saturday, February 11, 2023, Carl E. Cuthrell, 88, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Carl was born to Cecil and Edna Cuthrell in Norfolk, VA. On December 23, 1960, he married “the love of his life”, Naomi Lorene Marshall and moved to Hampton, VA. They also lived in Newport News, VA, Lexington, NC and most recently, Carrollton, VA.
Carl and Lorene recently celebrated 62 years of blissful marriage.
Carl is survived by his wife, Lorene; his sons, Byron and Benjamin (David); his grand-daughter, Zoe; his brother, Clint Post (Simone); a sister-in-law, Cynthia Marshall and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Riverview Methodist Church in Carrollton, VA. A Time of Fellowship will follow at Rescue Evangelical Friends Church in Rescue, VA.
