On the evening of Friday, January 15, 2021 Joanna Katherine Bossetti, 75, passed away surrounded by her husband, Leroy L. Bossetti, daughters, Diana Noonen and Marilyn Damianidis and son-in-law, Steven Noonen. She was born to the late Olga and Louis Deliyannis in Norfolk, VA. She and her family moved to Brooklyn, NY as an infant and lived there for 21 years before returning to Newport News, VA. She married Leroy L. Bossetti in 1991 and remained in Newport News for the duration of their marriage. Joanna participated as a choir member for over 20 years to her local Greek Orthodox communities, Saints Constantine & Helen in Newport News, VA and also in Annunciation Cathedral in Norfolk, VA. Her love of faith and music was passed down to her daughters as well as her grandchildren who continue to walk in her example. 
She is survived by her husband, Leroy L. Bossetti; four daughters, Diana Noonen, Marilyn Damianidis, Athena Harrell, and Olga Nixon; her brother, Spiros Deliyannis as well as five grandchildren, Stephan Noonen, Alexa Noonen, Rebekah Rippard, Alexandra O'Dea and Peter Damianidis.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Saints Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Newport News, VA with a Trisagion Service beginning at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 22, 2021 at Saints Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church with burial at Peninsula Memorial Park at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements by Weymouth Funeral Home.
