I send my sincerest and heartfelt sympathy to Mrs. Hensley’s son, daughter, and entire family. I had the pleasure of working with Mrs. Hensley for 2 school years. She always told me, “You just tell me what you need. I am here to support you and our class.”. I will miss her smile and her way of selecting the best gifts for special occasions or sometimes a surprise treat “just because.” Her students will always remember her commitment to their learning. My love and prayers are with you, her family. May God keep you in His tender care.

I am at a loss for words and you know that is rare for me. Aunt Jo was such a bright light to this world. I will forever miss her witty humor and the love she gave so freely. I am beyond grateful for the memories I have with her and will miss our chats and that infectious smile of hers.

To the Mehaffey/Cowan/Morris family, I am truly sorry. Death is a thief and I pray for peace and comfort for you all. One thing is for sure, she loved her family and I am forever grateful that she considered me her niece. We would joke I was her favorite! She never confirmed nor denied it, haha!

Aunt Jo, I pray you are at peace and know how much you are loved. You will always be remembered as Pirate Joey. Keep an eye on us down here, we will need it. Love you forever.

We all will miss Jonnie, here, at school. She was quite often in the lounge, eating lunch, at the same time I had my lunch. We shared many conversations during that time. Unfortunately, I only saw her to speak a few times this year, at school. I miss her. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Ms. Hensley will be missed! She was always positive and happy... Watkins will not be the same without her. I give my sincere sympathies to her family and know God will help you heal...
