I am devastated that I cannot attend services for my dear Aunt Mary due to the virus. I was always amazed at the many talents and resilience Aunt Mary possessed. She birthed and raised 12 children, while finding time to sell Tupperware and Avon and to play the organ at church. She played beautifully at my wedding!
Her apple pies and cheese cakes were fabulous. And who could forget the fudge?! She was an excellent seamstress ( I loved the red wool skirt she made me). I marveled at her boundless energy and appreciated her frank directness. I always knew where Aunt Mary stood on an issue, and valued her opinion. I’m sorry distance kept us from closer contact over the years. I send love and condolences to my cousins. I know there is a huge hole in your hearts. Mine too.
