Lt. Col. Neal B. Lewis, 69, passed away suddenly on Thursday October 22, 2020. We are grateful it was not COVID, but deeply saddened all the same. Neal loved life, his family, friends and co-workers. He was a great soccer coach for his girls and several co-ed youth teams. He had a beautiful singing voice and a twinkle in his eye. He enjoyed maintaining a manicured yard, feeding the birds, and watching his alma mater Michigan State football and basketball teams. He will be greatly missed by all who are loved by him, including his two spoiled cats and numerous fish.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Pamela Lewis; his two beautiful daughters, Vanessa Lewis and Erica Lewis; his son-in-law, Eric Quigley; three brothers, Barry, Jeff, and Randy Lewis and their families.

Funeral arrangements are pending.

Neal was a diehard Cincinnati Reds fan. I could always expect a call from Neal each spring as he enthusiastically spoke about the promise of the upcoming season. Neal's insight enabled me to converse intelligently about the Reds with my Father, another huge Reds fan.
I am very sorry for your loss. Neal will be missed.
