Philip Bryan Means, 56, passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2021 while at his favorite place, Kerr Lake, Virginia, with his loving wife, Lisa by his side. Phil was born in Huntington, West Virginia. For over 30 years he was co-owner of M & M Painting Services, LLC in Newport News, Virginia.

Philip was preceded in death by his father, Richard Lee Means. Phil leaves behind to carry on his memory, his wife, Lisa Means; his children, Rhonda Ward, (Travis) and Chuck Bowden (Jeannine); his grandchildren,  Briana Jackson, Leah Jackson, Alana Kelly, Skyler Ward, Gabriel Bowden and Michael Bowden; his great-grandchildren, Mila Bowden, Nizir Fields and Lillian Smooth; his mother and step-father, Audrey and Dennis Cantrell; his brothers, Terry McComas (Della), Rich Means (Amy) and Tim Means (Gwen); his sister, Tammy Welch (Dana) and many nieces, nephews and friends. Phil lived life with a smile on his face and was loved by many.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Weymouth Funeral Home, Newport News.
